wilderness is just 50 miles from Skookum Rendezvous, it contains
50,775 acres. This area is home to mule deer, whitetail deer, elk,
black bears, cougars, bobcat, wolverines, badgers, lynx, bighorn
sheep, and moose. This is one of the few places in the lower 48
states where you can see woodland caribou, grizzly bear, and gray
wolves. Although visiting this area is encouraged, wilderness regulations
apply.
